Renewable Heat Incentive

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) provides commercial organisations with a financial reward for the heat produced from renewable devices. We have completed over 1000 applications for all sizes and types of technology including biomass, heat pumps, anaerobic digestion and combined heat and power (CHP).

We offer a complete service package that will maximise your RHI income while minimising any stress. This includes meter placement and system design advice, completing applications and providing ongoing support once approval has been granted. We will even submit your meter readings for you and take care of any ongoing responsibilities to Ofgem. Remember, if you have a biomass boiler then you also need to register on the Biomass Suppliers List, we can also this application for you.

Independent Meter Reports

  • Visit site and carry out an inspection of the meter positions to ensure that they are fitted within manufacturers guidelines
  • Write an independent meter report to confirm meter details and positions, pipe work layout vs. schematic drawing, boiler details and eligible heat uses
  • Answer any queries from Ofgem during the application process
  • We work with you to ensure the meters are installed and positioned correctly

Biomass Suppliers List (BSL) Applications

  • Assistance in setting up an online BSL account
  • Completion of the BSL compliant carbon calculator
  • BSL land criteria compliance check
  • Gathering of all essential documents for the application process
  • Where appropriate and if required, scanning and printing of documents.
  • Completing the BSL application form
  • Answering any queries from BSL during the application process
  • Completion of the BSL Risk Based Regional Assessment Form (RBRA)
  • Carry out woodland management plans and felling licence applications (if required)
